BGT winner Richard Jones made a member of the Inner Magic Circle

“Feeling very overwhelmed with some incredible news !!!!!!!!!!! Just had a phone call from The President of The Magic Circle – I’ve been made a Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star,” Jones posted on his Facebook page.

Most recently, Jones won the tenth season of the British reality competition, Britain’s Got Talent, thanks to his impressive close-up magic acts, which garnered standing ovations from the judges. As a result, Jones became the first magician to accomplish this feature, after British magician Jamie Raven came in second place in the ninth season of the reality show.

Jones’ mind-blowing act in the finals, where he paid tribute to 97-year-old British soldier Fergus Anckorn, may be seen below.

A London native, Jones joined the British Army in 2010, and is now 25 years old.
