Singer-songwriter Ashley Mills Monaghan released her “Good Times” children’s music album.

It opens on a soothing note with “Good Times.” It is followed by the mid-tempo and anthemic “Let’s Make Cookies” while “Wiggles” is just a ball of energy, and a great deal of fun.

It is followed by the mellow “Our Garden Grows” and the celebratory “All of You.” Equally noteworthy is “The Color Song,” which could be used for both didactic and entertainment purposes.

After the melodically-stunning “Happy Feet!”, it closes with “If I Tell Myself I Can” and “I Belong Mantra,” where she leaves her young listeners (as well as their friends and parents) wanting to hear more.

Monaghan deserves to become the next Laurie Berkner or Kira Willey in the kindie rock music genre.

This “Good Times” collection is feel-good, highly eclectic and memorable; moreover, it is ideal for the whole family. It deserves to be a contender at the upcoming Grammy Awards in the “Children’s Music Album” category.

“Good Times” is available on Apple Music by clicking here. Well done.
