Armin van Buuren named ‘Best Trance DJ’ at Annual DJ Awards

This award ceremony took place on September 29 in Pacha, Ibiza, which was exactly one month prior to the official release of his latest studio album, Embrace. This proves that Armin is one of the most relevant and popular electronic music producers and DJs in trance music.

Throughout his respected career in the music industry, Armin has been named “World’s Best DJ” by DJ Magazine in its Top 100 DJs poll, and he garnered a 2014 Grammy nomination for “Best Dance Recording” for his smash single “This Is What It Feels Like,” where he collaborated with Canadian singer-songwriter Trevor Guthrie. The annual DJ Awards were streamed live, where fans and viewers were able to witness his acceptance speech, where he was able to join in via live feed, due to other responsibilities. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation for his fans and their dedication and support for his “Best Trance DJ” win.

On October 16, Armin will be headlining his own show at Amsterdam Arena during A.D.E. (Amsterdam Dance Event).
