Armin van Buuren crowned ‘Highest Trance DJ of 2017’ by DJ Mag

Overall, Armin ranked No. 3 in this year’s poll, behind Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at No. 2, and Martin Garrix who reclaimed the top spot (No. 1) for the second consecutive year.

Most impressive about Armin is that he has been in the Top 5 of the Top 100 DJs poll for the past 15 years, thus proving that he is a true force to be reckoned with in the electronic dance music (EDM) industry. To this day, Armin holds the record for most “Best DJ” wins, with five career wins in the DJ Top 100 poll, four of which were consecutive honors.

Last month, Armin headlined the main stage at the electronic music festival “Electric Zoo: The 6th Boro,” where he was able to put Randall’s Island Park, New York, in “A State of Trance.”
