The song is titled “Liar Liar” and it’s by Captain Ska. Although the song is popular, it probably won’t be played on British radio anytime soon. “Liar Liar” is set to be the highest new entry on the U.K. Official Singles Chart this week, but there are impartiality rules during the elections, which is why it will unlikely be played on radio.

There’s also a music video, which has over one million views. It features footage of May making various speeches and text of various news headlines that criticize her decisions.
The BBC claims the song breaks the rules. However, BBC’s radio stations still report that “Liar Liar” has landed the top spot on iTunes, but refuse to give it airtime.
A spokesman for the BBC said they don’t ban songs or artists. He added that the country is currently in an election period, therefore the song won’t be played.
Jake Painter, the founder of Captain Ska, spoke with the Guardian and said he was glad that the song’s message is resonating with people. He said he has been in the industry for 15 years and Captain Ska is the result of his frustration with the response from the government, who he describes as the most right wing of all.
