2015 Tony Awards nominations announced

Mary-Louis Parker and Bruce Willis were on hand at the Paramount Hotel this morning to announce the nominations. Take note, Willis was there on purpose as he will make his Broadway debut soon.

Here are the nominations. But first a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will be presented to Tommy Tune.

The show will air live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York on June 7.

Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth will host. “As past Tony Award winners and Broadway favorites, Alan and Kristin are no strangers to the Radio City Music Hall stage,” said Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The Broadway League and Heather Hitchens, President of the American Theatre Wing, in a release.

Chenoweth is nominated this year in Best Actress in a Musical. She has won an Emmy and a Tony so far in her career. Cumming has won a Tony Award.
