American Idol winner, rock star announces return to ‘Kinky Boots’

Cook will be reprising the lead role as Charlie Price in the Tony award-winning musical.

“I am so honored and excited to get to come back to the factory,” Cook said. The acclaimed rocker praised Kinky Boots for being “such a great show,” and he complimented the cast, crew and staff, for being “incredible.” “I cannot wait to help tell the story again,” he exclaimed.

Cook’s run in Kinky Boots on Broadway will take place next month, from July 17 to September 9, 2018, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in the heart of New York City.
