He got married to his long-time girlfriend, Hannah Blackwell, on Saturday, October 24, according to an article in Billboard.
Phillips and his wife exchanged their vows in front of their 250 wedding guests at a ceremony that was held in Albany, Georgia, which subsequently featured a southern-style reception.
The season 11 American Idol winner is known for such hit singles as “Home,” “Gone, Gone, Gone” and “Raging Fire.” His voice has earned him comparisons to Dave Matthews Band.
Phillips had initially shared that he was engaged to Hannah last December.
