American Idol’s Robbie Rosen talks Long Island show, future (Includes interview)

Regarding his forthcoming show at Frankie’s East Side Gourmet Pizza on December 13 in Farmingdale, Rosen said, “It’s going to be a very different show for me and I’m really excited! Usually the shows I do aren’t as intimate in terms of the venues, so it will be really nice to perform for a smaller crowd where we can interact on a much more up-close and personal level.”

On his future plans, he said, “I’m going to be continuing my touring of the U.S., writing for myself and others, recording, and releasing new music! I’m excited to share everything I’ve been working on behind the scenes with my fans.”

He had nothing but the fondest memories for his American Idol experience. “American Idol put my name on the map, and I’ll always be grateful for everything the show did for me. People from all across the country, and even around the world know my name and have heard my music, and it’s just so incredibly humbling. Wouldn’t have been possible without Idol giving me their platform,” he said, graciously.

For his fans, he concluded, “I would like to say that my fans are truly some of the best people I’ve ever met. I can’t thank them enough for all the support through the years. I always like to say, ‘What is an artist without his/her fans?” and it’s true. They are the people that inspire me every single day to keep doing what I love, to keep pushing on…and I’m thankful for each and every one of them.”
