Amber Ferrari up for Best of Long Island, to play Madonna tribute

Ferrari has been nominated for the 2019 “Best of Long Island” award for “Best Singer from Long Island,” a category she has won four times from 2014 to 2017, as well as for “Best Band (Non Cover),” an accolade that she and her band have won five consecutive years, from 2014 to 2018.

On October 20, Ferrari will be performing her “Material Girl” Madonna tribute at Napper Tandy’s in Smithtown on Long Island, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. She will be followed by the Long Island tribute band Decadia.

Aside from Madonna, other artists that Ferrari does tributes for include Janis Joplin and Pat Benatar. She also performs original songs with her band.
