Alternative band Faith No More to play concerts in New York

They will be performing on May 13 and 14 at Webster Hall in the Grand Ballroom. More information on this show can be obtained on Webster Hall’s official homepage.

Faith No More had disbanded in 1998 and they did not play again until 2009. They were one of the most popular bands of the 1990s. “Epic” was a Top 10 hit, peaking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

They have released six studio albums, and their seven studio effort, Sol Invictus, will be released on May 19, and it features their latest single “Superhero.” This marks their first album release since their 1997 Album of the Year CD.

Throughout their musical career, they have been nominated for three Grammy awards, which include a 1990 “Best Metal Performance” nod for “The Real Thing,” a 1991 “Best Hard Rock Performance” nomination for their smash single “Epic,” as well as a 1993 “Best Hard Rock Performance” nod for “Angel Dust.”

Faith No More is comprised of front-man Mike Patton on lead vocals, Robby Bottum on keyboards and backing vocals, Jon Hudson on guitar and backing vocals, Billy Gould on bass and background vocals, as well as Mike Bordin on backing vocals and percussion.
