When asked what he loves most about electronic dance music, he said, “Probably the way of producing and sharing with the. It’s so simple technically nowadays, you can create your own track in the plane and after few hours test it on the dance-floor, it’s just amazing!”
Regarding the song selection of Interplay, he said, “Well I tried to put a lot of my own tracks and exclusives from some upcoming talents and I can say I’m pretty proud of the result, there is more then half exclusive tracks on it.
From his latest album, Broning’s “Revolution,” and his own “Born To Love” are two of his favorite tracks. “That’s what I call pure trance track. ‘Multiverse’ is one of the most successful tracks I made in the last two years,” he said.
On his future plans, he revealed, “I made a few remixes for great artists like Armin van Buuren and Andrew Rayel and Cosmic Gate to name a few, and some very exciting collaborations are now in process.”
Popov listed acclaimed songstresses Emma Hewitt and Julie Thompson as his dream female duet vocalists. “I hope we can do something together in the future,” he said.
He is happy to be a part of the Armada record label family. “It’s a very strong dance label, professional crew and the best label for trance artists at the moment,” he said.
For his fans, he concluded, “Just want to say very big thanks to everyone who listen to my music, add comments and likes on social medias, it’s a big pleasure to know that your music can make someone a little bit more happy.”
