After the gold rush: Faces and actions (Includes first-hand account)

The streets were filled with joy, laughter and great feeling of being Canadians. The athletes were performing excellently during the second period of the Games and they broke the record that many doubted in the beginning of the entire event. The Canada Owns the Podium worked. The springlike weather contributed to the vibe of the streets encouraging many to strip off and present their red-and-white painted bodies. The centre of Vancouver was one and vibrating organism with lots of energy hanging in the air. The faces captured on the pictures were saying it all.
