Academy Award winner Shirley Jones released a reimagined version of her 2009 holiday album “Shirley Jones: A Touch of Christmas” via Hindsight Records.
This collection of 12 holiday songs is certainly nostalgic. The project comprises ten classic tunes and two originals “The Christmas Song” written by Mel Torme and Robert Wells and “A Touch of Christmas” penned by Les Brown, Jr., Carol Raczka, and Pat L. Patterson.
Produced by Les Brown, Jr. for Rayburt Productions and executive producers Howard B. Wolf and Pat Lynn-Patterson, the new release is part of The Hindsight Reimagined Series of timeless recordings tastefully enhanced for today’s listeners.

“This music always whisks me back to my teens and my first days in the church choral room where I was discovering both God and the voice gift He gave me,” Shirley Jones remarked.
The album was recorded and mixed at “The Mansion,” in Branson, Missouri and engineered by Danny Stone and Ron Treat with re-mixing completed by Les Brown Jr., Danny Stone, and Ron Treat.
Academy Award Winner Shirley Jones is a talented actress and singer best known for her appearances in Oklahoma!, Carousel, and The Partridge Family. She has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards and three Emmy Awards.
In 1961, she won the Academy Award for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” for her powerful portrayal of Lulu Baines in Elmer Gantry alongside Burt Lancaster. In 2014, Shirley and her son, Patrick Cassidy, went on tour with a concert salute of The Music Man, celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
She also has three films yet to be released called Johnny Blue, On the Wing with Corbin Bernsen, and Forgiven This Gun4hire with David Cassidy and Louie Anderson.
