The AI revolution is extending deeper into the workplace. A recent study by the company Kraftshala, an online digital marketing institute, showed that the search trend for “AI Jobs” went up by 113% from the start of 2024 to May 2025.

Varun Satia, the co-founder at Kraftshala has told Digital Journal: “Whether AI will steal most of our jobs or not, remains to be seen, but there’s an undeniable surge in demand for AI skills. Future professionals will have no choice but to master AI skills or get left behind by those who hopped on this bandwagon at the right time.”

The general pattern is that the supply of AI skills is falling short of the rising demand in the job market. The survey provides detail of the eleven most in-demand AI jobs in the UK as of 2025, with the skills you need to land them, using data from Google searches, LinkedIn, and other leading job sites.

Top 3 ‘AI Jobs’ based on Search Volume

AI Chatbot Developer: 1,10,000 monthly searches

The Google searches for ‘AI Chatbot’ have skyrocketed in the past 1 year. Naturally, with this comes the demand for ‘AI Chatbot Developers.’ While Tech has the most employers for people with AI skills, companies such as Vodafone posting jobs for Chatbot Developers is a huge sign that Telecom is sinking its teeth into the AI job market as well.

Chatbot Developers can earn between £26K – £42K as of 2025.

AI Video Producer/Content Creator: 33,100 monthly searches

We are already seeing a huge presence of AI in the video/content field. From businesses using AI voiceover for their YouTube ads to having scripts written using AI. The popularity of content creation as a field among Gen Z and Millennials, combined with AI skills, can land you a wealth of lucrative opportunities.

The average salary for a Content Creator in the UK is around £32,289 per year. But add AI knowledge to the mix, and the numbers are sure to go up!

Data Annotator: 33,000 monthly searches

With the dramatic surge in AI data production, it’s clear we need people to analyze, sort, and label the data. From Tech to HR and the Professional Services industry, like IT, Marketing, and Banking, Data Annotators are in high demand in multiple industries.

The average salary of a Data Annotator in 2025 is £22K – £33K/yr. But this pay is expected to increase the more well-versed a candidate is with AI tools and languages.
