“Masculinity is not toxic; it has never been toxic. Men really should be masculine because that is in our DNA.”-Tomo Marjanovic

Masculinity is in crisis in contemporary times. It would seem as though, as society evolves, it is tilted at an angle that alludes to the fact that being manly is an aberration. So you have ethics, institutions, and morals suggesting that men water down their manliness.

Over time, this idea has gained traction, to the detriment of men everywhere. For the successful entrepreneur and public speaker Tomo Marjanovic, masculinity isn’t toxic. The problem in modern-day America is that society is feminizing what men should be, taking away what is good about being a man.

Tomo Marjanovic is a retired law enforcement officer, founder of Aspire Rejuvenation Clinic, turned entrepreneur who is deeply passionate about the decline of masculinity and bringing it to the top burner for society to rethink and realign.

According to Tomo, there are several factors responsible for the creation of weaker men in society, which are contributing to the decline of masculinity that must be addressed.

“The key thing to remember when talking about masculinity is that it is never about men and women not having equal rights,” says Tomo. “Instead, it is about recognizing that it is natural for men to be masculine and that it’s natural for women to be feminine.”

Speaking further, the savvy entrepreneur points out that men are inherently different from women in all respects. That difference should be maintained and attempts to weaken men should be considered critically. In fact, rather than view manliness as toxic, men should be encouraged to be men and to act out their role as men – being protective of their spouses and families, being providers, and being the leader in their space and society generally.

Moving forward, as an entrepreneur involved in the healthcare industry, Tomo Marjanovic is an autodidact in endocrine health and hormone therapy when it comes to hormone and regenerative therapies. Through his platform, he is creating education and awareness about how our mindset and health affect all aspects of our lives.

For him, one of the most critical challenges in the hormone therapy (HRT) industry is what he describes as ‘the cookie-cutter mentality.’ This is a situation where practitioners in the healthcare industry prescribe the same amount of hormonal medication and recommendation to separate individuals without paying much attention to their individualities – differences in their body mass, height, lifestyle, and so on.

“So it’s just the same mainstream medicine cookie-cutter mentality,” he says. “It’s not considering their body. It’s not considering their genetics, not considering goals. That’s the biggest problem and hurdle we see in people coming from other clinics.”

Although Tomo Marjanovic isn’t a medical professional by training, it’s incredible to see how far he’s come through the years and how much experience he’s gained. He’s achieved incredible feats in the health industry to date, winning awards and accolades from institutions in the industry.

Currently, he’s in the process of scaling up his clinic model, with plans to open up to five clinics each year for the next several years.

But beyond the attraction of making money, Tomo is also concerned about creating value and enriching lives through his businesses and social media platforms. According to him, it’s always a question of how to make a patient’s life better and more manageable. Approaching the business from this perspective has helped to build the trust of those who come through the clinic’s doors for help.
