Born in Miami, Florida, to Cuban exiles/immigrants of Spanish ancestry, Fernandez had to work hard and overcome obstacles his entire life. Nothing was handed to him, from being a kid with limited resources to never missing a day of school, to becoming the starting QB in high school, to making the football team at the University of Miami, to ultimately earning an MBA degree from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business with a specialization in entrepreneurship and strategic management, Fernandez pursued his goals with unwavering commitment and determination.

Currently serving as a Business Executive for Envista Holdings Corporation under the Implant Direct operating company, Fernandez is charged with spearheading the product launch of their latest innovation, the Simply Iconic implant system which is making a huge impact in the dental world for implantologists, periodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and high-placing general dentists. The product gives customers the chance to buy and treat their patients with a proven implant body, conical hex, and SimplePlatform™ implant system for optimal primary stability and aesthetics. It also helps dental clinics enhance and manage their prosthetic components efficiently.

This launch has been planned and coordinated as a new product in the dental market to add tremendous value to surgical and digital workflows and is available for purchase in the United States. Fernandez’s branding leadership has been invaluable to Envista Holdings Corporation in this effort. As a top sales executive, he generated millions in revenue for the company and his strategic branding capabilities are differentiating the Simply Iconic implant system from its competition. As a result, the Simply Iconic implant system brand is building trust and loyalty among customers who get its value proposition.
