As one of the world’s top travel destinations and business hubs, New York City has some of the most exquisite hotel designs. The city has adopted modern designs, from warm room features to picturesque views that let you take in the greatest elements of the Big Apple and make your stay exciting and memorable. But it is impossible to talk about all this without mentioning C & A Seneca Construction, the company behind some of the best New York designer hotels.

For almost 100 years, C & A Seneca has been redefining the New York hospitality scene one building at a time. They have worked on some of New York’s most notable restaurants like celebrity chef  Geoffrey Zakarian restaurant The Lambs Club, Moxy East 11th Street Hotel, Moxy Lower East Side, Moxy Times Square , Moxy Chelsea Space ibiza Nightclub, Buddha Bar, and Gansevoort Hotel. C & A Seneca built Buddha Bar’s and Stay Hotel’s projection wall using cutting-edge technology.

Their professionalism, use of technology, ability to stay ahead of technological trends and broad experience set them apart. C & A Seneca is a family-owned construction company started by Anthony Seneca in 1926. It is now run by a 4th generation Seneca: celebrated civil engineer Carlo Seneca

Carlo has been in the construction industry for over 35 years, heading some of the biggest projects in hospitality. His love for nightclubs and hospitality made him open a one-of-kind nightclub in the heart of NYC, the Quo Nightclub, which he says inspired him to venture deeper into the hospitality industry.

Carlo and the team at C & A Seneca Construction have a deep love and respect for architecture and building  and leveraging the latest technology to build the hottest modern hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, and rooftops in the city. C & A Seneca works with world-renowned designers, architects, and engineers.

Their work in the hospitality industry has not gone unnoticed, as they have received numerous awards. C & A Seneca Construction has been named Hospitality Builder of the Year, Best Hotel Contractor in NYC, and Best Restaurant Builder in NYC.

The company has been hailed by the Contract Design Network, and its work has been recognized and featured in top publications. C & A Seneca Construction won Commercial Interior Design Magazine’s 2020 Interiors Awards Bar/Restaurant for its work on The Fleur Room and Feroce Ristorante/Caffè at Moxy NYC Chelsea. Their projects have been featured by Commercial Interior Design Magazine, NewsWires, Supper Magazine, Metropolis Magazine, The New York Times, and Peer 2 Peer Real Estate.

According to Carlo Seneca , the current CEO, their goal is to continue providing cutting-edge construction services in New York, helping investors bring their ideas to reality. C & A Seneca is also looking to expand to other states. Carlo says they are working on opening new locations in Miami. “In the coming years, we are going to grow our company and brand into Miami and be as big as we are there as we are in NYC,” says Carlo Seneca.
