Sony hikes profit forecast on strong gaming business

Japan’s Sony Group on Thursday upgraded its annual net profit projection to $7.0 billion, lifted by its strong gaming business.

Japan’s Sony Group on Thursday upgraded its annual net profit projection to $7.0 billion, lifted by its strong gaming business.

The entertainment and electronics conglomerate said it now expects a net profit of 1.08 trillion yen ($7.0 billion), compared with an earlier projection of 980 billion yen for the business year ending on March 31, 2025.
