Cam Moar’s story starts as your everyday rags-to-riches story, but it is more than that. It is the story of an everyday Joe trying to do their best with what they have and not settling for less. Born to Australian parents, Cam was the boy next door. Today, he is seen as a successful dropshipper that others look up to for entrepreneurial advice.

Cam’s rags to riches story didn’t come easy. At 13, Cam went through every kid’s nightmare; his parents went through a very bitter and tumultuous divorce. This left him with scars that would take a long time to heal. According to the Australian Institute of Family Studies, in 2020, 49,510 divorces were granted. This number was higher when Cam’s mother and father divorced. He tried to make the best of this situation but couldn’t. He hated high school and felt there was a better answer for him. This was reflected in his performance, and was actually removed from his high school.

Everyone has a dream to one day sit among those they consider successful, hence the grinder mentality. Over the years, people from all over the world have been united by the need to want more than they started with. This is not just financial but education, physical, and mental health. Cam Moar was once part of those who wanted more than what life dealt him, and he still wants more today.

Life After School is not Easy, But Someone has to Do It

While Cam was struggling in high school, he felt the struggle was part of what makes him a success today. As he walked out of that high school door, a new door opened which was the world of work. Cam took up carpentry and specialized in cabinet work. But like everyone in a job they aren’t crazy about, his job didn’t fuel him. He rode this wave for three and a half years.

Like most blue-collar jobs in Australia, his carpentry gig did not pay enough for him to go back home with a smile. He earned $600 after 60-hour shifts every week. As a hardworking teen with more to live for, Cam took up what he considered at the time to be a side hustle.

Wanting More than What You Are Dealt, Side Hustle Turned Main Job

When people hear side hustle, they think of moonlighting or working for under-the-table pay. But Cam was smarter than that. His friends introduced him to the world of e-commerce. He didn’t start big, but he didn’t start small, either. In his first month, he made $19,000. This was more money than most boys his age made then or are making now. With the $19,000 success, he went in for a second month, and made $50,000. And it has only gotten better from there.

With his work ethic and success, Cam is now the face of a business he got involved with as a side hustle to supplement his carpentry income. Today Cam Moar is on his way to becoming a millionaire. To most, this may sound like a kid who caught a lucky break, but Cam has given a lot of blood, sweat and tears to be where he is today.

Cam’s company has its home base in Australia, but they are looking to expand into the U.S. and the U.K. soon. Today the company has 15 full-time employees, along with employing contractors, and is growing. Not only is Cam Moar and his team looking to better themselves but their community as well. As Cam’s motto goes, “find what you love doing and stay at it until you succeed.”
