Branding has always been a vital component of business, but it seems to be more important now than ever before. With social media being a major part of everyday life, a person or company’s persona is on display for the world to see and make judgments about. There is also more competition now than ever before, so it is imperative that brands stand out amongst the crowd and have control of how others perceive them.

Most importantly, branding is more than just a logo or design element. It encompasses the philosophy you adopt and the culture you embrace. It does not happen overnight, and there are people working to equip individuals and brands with the proper tools to build a successful brand — one of them being Travis Brady, founder and CEO of Next Gen Agency

Brady understands the importance of building a strong brand presence in order to build significant relationships with consumers, resulting in better sales and more brand loyalty. He took inspiration from a conversation he had with a former president of the National Speakers Association, where he said it takes eight years to build a brand. Brady wanted to shorten this process, and got it down to eight weeks with his five-step approach.

The five-pronged approach that Next Gen Agency has adopted includes leadership discovery and coaching development, branding and team culture, social media marketing and lead generation, service delivery and automation, and finally, sales process and business scaling. This is how Brady helps his clients transform their brand and become “next gen.”

Brady was named a top coach to follow in 2020 by Yahoo! Finance, and he is just as passionate about helping people today as he was when he founded the agency. As for his motivation, Brady says, “Our agency is called ‘Next Gen’ because we believe everyone is unique, different, creative, and has something the world needs. So we challenge the status quo, really getting people out there in a unique and innovative way. It is not about just branding clients, it’s about bringing the uniqueness out of that person – making them Next Gen.”

In addition to helping businesses enhance their brand, Next Gen has also worked with many athletes recently, including retired NBA player and Utah Jazz Legend Thurl Bailey, along with celebrity fitness trainer behind the popular fit2fat2fit Instagram account, Drew Manning. Brady has a special connection with athletes because he worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the University of Utah’s football team before launching his own business.
