Hellenic News of America to celebrate 29th anniversary at Gala

This prestigious news outlet celebrates decades of serving the Greek-American community. Mr. Paul Kotrotsios serves as its founder and publisher, with Aphrodite Kotrotsios as co-publisher. This newspaper was created by and for the Greek-American people. They will celebrate this occasion with a formal black tie event at the Concordville Inn in Concordville, Pennsylvania. It will feature a reception and a silent auction, which will be followed by an awards dinner. Entertainment will be provided by Stavros Theodorou, as well as the Orchestra of Yorgos Rabos and Georgos Bazanis Klarino.

The event will recognize the Hellenic News’ commitment to the Greek Diaspora in America and it will kick off a larger celebration that is planned in October of 2017, where they will be celebrating three decades of publishing. The awards dinner will honor six prominent Greeks and Greek-American individuals such as community travel agent Eleni Poulos, Dr. Peter Patukas, Dr. Konstadinos Plestis, the system chief of cardiothoracic surgery at the Lankenau Heart Institute, Dr. George Patoulis will be recognized for his role as president of the Medical Association of Athens, and Dr. Stefanos Foussas will be recognized for his role as president of the Hellenic Cardiological Society.
