In a land where the progress of man has been etched into the history of the United States, it’s thanks to innovators like co-founder and CEO Dwi Sutandar and his Seattle team that America’s EV industry is set to soar. With their revolutionary electric vehicle charging hub, entitled AeonCharge taking center stage, Sutandar is ready to make the USA an economic and environmental EV leader in the succeeding automotive space for good.

It’s crazy to think how far electric cars have come. But by the looks of things, their journey has just begun. Since the 1900s, humankind’s technological advancements have excelled, and now things we didn’t even think were possible have become part of everyday life.

Yes, most futuristic predictions came to fruition, but while we still don’t have flying cars or other super-efficient engines in practice, what has transpired is a hub of what some may call the fossil-fuel-addicted motoring public.

But in the age of global warming and chronic energy supply chain disruptions, the idea of a car that doesn’t run on fossil fuels is now more attractive than ever. Enter EV, electric cars at their finest.

As of December 2021, about 2.3 million electric cars in the US account for about 1% of the total number of cars on American roads. But plug-in vehicles will make up 23% of new passenger vehicle sales globally in 2025, of which three-quarters will be fully electric.

Now that’s pretty impressive, considering that if we had to rewind a decade, you would find a grand total of zero. However, with the rise of new technology and its exciting environmentally-friendly benefits, it does have its fair share of challenges – particularly when EV drivers need to find a charging unit.

“After talking to a lot of different EV drivers, we found that about 80% use more than 60 mobile apps to find public EV chargers in the US alone,” explains co-founder and CEO of AeonCharge, Dwi Sutandar.

He continues, “these statistics explain why – according to data from the University of California Davis, two out of 10 EV drivers abandon their EVs and go back to gasoline vehicles out of frustration”.

So, in an attempt to change this narrative, through hard work, determination, and initiative, Dwi Sutandar and his team in Seattle have taken the world by storm to enhance America’s technological power.

After unearthing his passion for renewable energy and technology during his undergraduate year at Purdue University, he and his comrades formed a united front with a mission to impact the US positively.

And so, by creating a more accessible and more effective tool for EV users and more, the Indonesian-born genius eclipsed his humble beginnings to build an empire fit for the new world.

Enter the leading EV charging experience, AeonCharge. As a socially-conscious, mission-driven start-up, this revolutionary game-changer is set out to explore the possibilities of new technologies to help further advance the charging capabilities of EV drivers.

AeonCharge enhances the EV charging experience for end users by making EV charging more available through their chosen interface, whether a parking app or a built-in navigation system in your vehicle.

And it doesn’t end there. As Sutandar spearheads the way forward with the AeonCharge app, it’s not just EV users, drivers, and the environment that will benefit from its mainstream use. AeonCharge is even stepping further into the field by utilizing the hub for America’s economical use.

“Our hub will help to drive more customers to restaurants or coffee shops just because usually it takes about 30 – 40 minutes to charge your vehicle,” says Sutandar. “But with our maps, business owners can provide EV charging stations to customers, and in exchange, people will be able to use their facilities while they wait.”

Looking into the future, Dwi Sutandar aims to ensure EV drivers can plan their trips conveniently with their favorite route planners without worrying about charging. Even adding some fantastic features, such as the location-based service, will reserve the charging spot when you are in proximity to avoid someone else taking the charger and ruining your travel plan.

As an expert in the nanotechnology space, having served as the Technical Director at Solar Chapter, an international non-profit extension of the World Bank, responsible for managing engineers across four continents, Dwi Sutandar is changing lives. And with his team’s service, so will the star-spangled banner’s legacy.

“We promote neutrality because we help to charge network operators, regarding their brands, to get more exposure to EV drivers. We also improve EV charging experience for end users by making EV charging more accessible through their preferred interface, whether it is a parking app or a built-in navigation system in your vehicle,” shares Sutandar.

“Lastly,” he continues, “we are a future-proof company with advanced technology, including bi-directional technology, Plug and Charge, and V2X.”
