Styx to perform at Jones Beach Theater with Def Leppard and Tesla

They will be sharing the stage at Jones Beach with rock group Tesla, and opening for headlining act Def Leppard.

On July 24, Styx will be bringing their live shows to Saratoga Springs in the upstate New York area at the Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center, and on July 25, they will be in Holmdel, New Jersey, playing the PNC Bank Arts Center.

A Chicago-based group, Styx is comprised of such band members as Tommy Shaw on guitar and keyboards, Lawrence Gowan on lead and backing vocals, James “JY” Young on guitar and lead vocals, Todd Sucherman on drums and percussion, Ricky Phillips on bass guitar and background vocals, and Chuck Panozzo on bass and backing vocals.

Throughout their career in the music business, they are known for such hit singles as “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” “Mr. Roboto,” “The Best of Times,” “Show Me The Way,” “Don’t Let It End,” “Renegade,” “Boat on The River,” “Too Much Time on My Hands,” their chart-topper “Babe,” among many others.
