On June 12, Nichols will be a part of the “Taste of Country” festival, which will take place in Buffalo, New York; moreover, he will be at this year’s inaugural Farmborough Festival on June 26 in New York City.
Nichols’ latest radio single, “Hard To Be Cool” is in the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, and it is making its way up the charts on country radio. This upbeat song is the follow-up to his previous singles “Sunny and 75” and “Yeah,” both of which reached No. 1 on the country charts. All three songs are tracks on his latest studio album, Crickets, which was released on his record label, Red Bow Records, and produced by Mickey Jack Cones. “Hard To Be Cool” was well-received by Digital Journal.
