Heart to kick off ‘The Rock Hall Three for All’ tour this summer

Their summer tour, produced by Live Nation, is called “The Rock Hall Three For All,” and it will include shows in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Nashville, Los Angeles and New York. On July 28, they will be playing the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in New York.

Heart was inducted into the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, and they paved the way for women in rock and roll, especially since they wrote their own songs, they played the instruments and Ann sang lead vocals, while Nancy accompanied her on harmonies (and sang lead on some tunes). Their hits from the 70s included “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” “Barracuda” and “Straight On.”

In the late 80s, they topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts with such singles as “These Dreams,” with Nancy on lead vocals, and the power-ballad “Alone.” Equally successful hits were “What About Love,” “If Looks Could Kill” and “Never.”

Throughout their career in the music scene, Heart has sold over 35 million albums, and they have sold out venues worldwide. They continue to play shows for thousands of fans each year.
