Don't tell me these men do not love their country and don't tell me that they don't believe in the cause of Freedom because that is assuredly untrue. Don't tell me that Barack Hussein Obama supports these Troops and McCain does not.

British author Salman Rushdie finally received knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II. The knighthood was announced last year, and it caused protests worldwide. The British government went ahead with the ceremony, recognizing Rushdie's lifelong body of work.

As Barack Obama and John McCain go back and forth on the issue of the economy, Obama insists that voting for McCain would be like having a third Bush term and McCain speaks about Obama, saying, "It seems to me he's running for Jimmy Carter's second."
