I studied photography and more in Detroit, then earned a degree in filmmaking from Ryerson in Toronto. I taught photojournalism for years, just part-time, at the University of Western Ontario. And I have worked for decades as a staff photographer at a couple of daily papers.
I took a buyout, so common in the newspaper industry today, and I am now enjoying the chance to plug into something new.
