I'm a 27-year-old professional journalist with a chronic addiction to hard-hitting, muckraking news reporting. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, I am currently living and working as a freelancer in San Diego. My career as a journalist has allowed me to sustainably pursue my other addiction - travel. Journalism has taken me half way around the world and back. I have traveled to places all over Central America, SE Asia, Australia, and the U.S. west coast travel writing and freelancing for various publications. I have held staff reporter positions with The Bali Times (a Bali, Indonesia-based English newspaper), the Mt.Shasta Herald (Mount Shasta, California), and the Newport News-Times (Newport, Oregon).
