Citizen based in Toronto, ON, Canada. Joined on Nov 2, 2010

In a nutshell I certainly feel like a citizen of the world, since I have a quite international and varied background ( Nigerian, Armenian, Russian etc). I grew up and completed school in Europe (Germany) , Africa (Nigeria) and North America (US) and thereafter 1994 went on to complete my BA degree in History and Geography in Scotland. It was a great experience and it allowed me to explore Scotland and its culture. Once done, I returned to Germany and between 1998-1999 finished up my Social Service, as an alternative to serving in the German military. In the meantime I was eager to get back into the academic world and attain an advanced degree and so I did between 1999 and 2000, completing in England my MSc in International Policy Analysis. It was essentially international relations at the core and I was intrigued about an opportunity i got to undertake a paid internship at the United Nations and earn credit towards my degree. It turned out to be more than just a 2 month stint in Geneva Switzerland in 2000, I ended up working for a specialized UN agency, the International Labour Organisation for 3 years thus undertaking research, doing data analysis, being involved in technical capacity building missions and writing and publishing working papers. Since then I emigrated to Canada ( which I first visited as an exchange student in 1996) and worked in various areas including technical support for wireless devices. I still however have kept abreast with current affairs and published more than 60 articles on current affairs issues via
