I was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1975 and have practised law for 25 years. I am the co-author of The Criminal Lawyers' Guide to Immigration and Citizenship Law (Canada Law Book, 1996).

Between 1996 and the present I was a columnist for Toronto Free Press which became Canada Free Press in 2002. I was Associate Editor of these publications from 1999 until the present. My columns were primarily op-ed pieces about Canadian and American politics.

I am currently also the Canadian Affairs Feature Writer for Suite101.com. I have been writing non opinion articles mainly on Canadian laws and politics.
