Pointer has a background in the financial services as a customer service representative. She also spent several years volunteering as a language and literacy tutor and tutor-trainer and also as a career skills instructor. Her education is in English Education, Adult Education and Distance Learning, and Instructional Design for Online Learning. She is currently a trainer in political blogging and social networking, an online newspaper editor, and the director of social networking at an online university. She loves assisting folks with career and reputation management through her new e-Résumé website based in Tulsa, OK.
When not in class or working, she enjoys volunteering, writing, travel, amateur photography, home decor, attending church and collecting Coca-Cola Christmas memorabilia.
