I am English but have been based in France for the last twenty years.
The expression "News Addict" describes me very well, because not hearing or reading the news for two days would drive me crazy! I guess I just don't like being out of the loop.
(I'd ask my psychiatrist if that's healthy, but I don't have one.)
My professional life is centred upon my passion for the english language. I am a freelance journalist, business translator, interpreter and english teacher to French businesspeople. It's good and varied work, particularly as it leaves me the spare time I need to write and record my songs. (Yep, I'm a music addict too.....)
Heaven is two weetabix with lots of cold milk and a sliced banana. Hell is forgetting that great melody I made up yesterday but was too lazy to record.
