Rod has been a freelance writer and photographer since 1979 covering subjects as diverse as music, cinema, technology, travel, motoring and media.
He holds tertiary qualifications in journalism from University of Queensland.
Most recently he has developed a specialization in
expedition and adventure cruising covering coastal, river and ocean voyages around the world.
Rod works alongside other specialist journalists as part of the
Ecomedia Group and is a full member of the
Australian Society of Travel Writers
