Over the past 20+ years, my work has appeared in many print, video, and online outlets, as well as in several professional journals. Prior to launching my solo career, I held various communication management roles in corporate, non-profit, and agency environments. I began my journalism career as a reporter for WBUR-FM, Boston, and then as an associate producer at WNEW-TV in New York.
I’m a member of the Association of Healthcare Journalists, the Society of Professional Journalists, Press Club of Long Island, Journalism and Women's Symposium (JAWS) and the Long Island Writer's Group. I hold an MA in Social Policy, healthcare concentration, from Empire State College, and a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
