Paula Chapman has been writing short stories and poetry since she was a little girl. A former reporter, columnist, and technical writer, Chapman has written for newspapers, trade journals, magazines and radio stations. Most recently, Chapman contributed to and hosted two radio programs, Friday Night Blues and Women’s Voices, in which she conducted interviews with community leaders, performers, politicians, and entrepreneurs.
Chapman is the author of The Supplier, a published modern romance novel, and the acclaimed but as yet unpublished police suspense novel series, The End of September. She also has written a quotations book featuring children's, political, and work-related quotes. Currently, Chapman hosts a blog, It’s Not Just A Pipe Dream. (

Chapman worked as a recruiter, ran a self-owned technical writing business, and worked as a career counselor in the non-profit sector for 10 years. Currently Chapman is a freelance writer.
Paula Chapman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Hunter College, New York City, and a Master's of Science degree in Human Resources from Chapman University, Orange, California.
Chapman is a semi-professional photographer and enjoys music, fitness, hiking, boating, and camping with her family, shopping with friends, politics, and Internet research.
