Paul Limrick White

Citizen based in Guelph, ON, Canada. Joined on Aug 25, 2015



UK Merchant Marine radio officer in the nineteen sixties. In 1966 emigrated to New Zealand and became a TV director and training officer with the NZBC. Returned to the UK in 1970. Joined the BBC in 1970 and the permanent staff as a director in the TV News department in 1972. As well as directing news bulletins and outside broadcasts, worked as a director and script writer on a programme for the deaf and hard of hearing. Participated in training News directors, newsreaders and journalists. Voluntary early retirement in 1993 then lectured in Media Studies at Swindon College of further education until 1995. Emigrated to Ottawa Canada in 2006. Still making and editing short films with my photographer and videographer wife Jessica Trinity.
