I am a marine biologist and a news addict. I read for pleasure and write for satisfaction. I have published many scientific and technical papers on fish reproductive physiology, salmon genetics and biotechnology in international journals. I have written or co-authored several book chapters. Additionally, I have published articles (English and Spanish) on popular science, arts, history, travel, economy and political subjects in local newspapers and community publications in Canada and Chile.
