Ovetta Sampson is a nationally award-winning journalist with 18 years’ experience in writing and editing. She has worked in print and digital publications and her writing has appeared in more than 40 national and international publications including The Christian Science Monitor, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe and The Chicago Tribune.She has reported from more than 30 countries and has managed content for several websites including Compassion.com and Beginnertriathlete.com Ovetta wrote her first article at age 9, shortly after she programmed her Commodore 64 computer to say "Hello, how are you?" Her love of all things people and technology is unique but she somehow makes those two worlds coincide and not collide. She lives in Chicago which is her kind of town but Colorado is where her heart resides. When she's not writing, editing, interviewing, plotting or planning she's swimming, biking and running as an experienced triathlete. Ovetta is a proud BOPer, with more than 30 triathlons under her belt including three 1/2 Ironmans.
