Opinion: From Cassandra To Jesus Christ

From Cassandra to Jesus Christ, it is amazing how often the doomed choose to ignore those who warn them of their coming fate. Cassandra was "doomed to tell the truth yet never to be believed". I am amazed how Greek Mythology so mirrors American politics.

" All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."
