Steve has a strong commitment to our country and to this community. Steve has been demonstrated this through his leadership and service in the United States Marine Corps during his service in Saudi Arabia for operation Desert Storm, which earned him the distinguishing Certificate of Commendation from the United States Marine Corps. Within Clark County, Steve assumed an important role with the Veteran Community. Steve is the past Chaplain for the Henderson Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Las Vegas Marine Corps League. Steve has made numerous appearances at funerals for our fallen serviceman, parades, and community functions. Steve is also Director for Veterans in Politics International, Inc., and he has testified in front of our State Legislature on various Veteran issues.

Steve participates in Town Hall Meetings, County Commission Meetings, Planning Commission Meetings, and City Council Meetings. Steve has earned a Certificate of Recognition by Assembly Woman Valerie Weber and a Certificate of Appreciation by Assemblywoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick.

Additionally, Steve has participated with our Judicial Community by lobbying for a permanent Small Claims Court Room for our new Regional Justice Center. Steve has authored and published a self help book on "How to Collect on Your Bad Debt Accounts". Steve has provided education and complimentary books to many citizens within the community to assist in their preparation for Small Claims Court. Steve is an instructor for National Business Institute on Collections Law. Steve is a Commentary Writer for the Las Vegas Tribune with his own column “The Veterans View”. Steve hosts a weekly internet radio show on All Talk Radio dot Net.

Steve is also very active within the Republican Party. Steve is a member of several Republican Coalitions. Steve has been elected to the Clark County Republican Party - Executive Board and designated Chaplain. Steve has done numerous invocations for the Las Vegas City Council, Clark County Board of County Commissions, Secured Boarders USA, and the 9/11 Memorial.

Furthermore, Steve is the Vice President for the Asian Republicans of Nevada (ARN). Steve is instrumental in creating awareness within the Asian Community regarding political and social issues. Steve has promoted active participation in the election process for the Republican platform both locally and nationally by eligible voters.

In closing Steve have been a Candidate for Las Vegas City Council Ward 6 in 2005 and Clark County Public Administrator in 2006.
