Peter Gordon Donald has worked in many forms of media.He attended Princeton University; he wrote his thesis on ACLU founder Roger Baldwin. Peter worked at The New York Times Co., Time Inc., 13-30 Corp./Whittle Communications, and New York University, where he was a speechwriter for Indiana Congressman/House Majority Whip turned NYU President John Brademas. He was Director of Program Development at Fox Television Stations Productions (Cops, America's Most Wanted). In TV he worked for (or was influenced by) Stephen Chao, Darius James, Melvin van Peebles. At Fox he made the reality pilot The Kindness of Strangers (aka No Strings Attached) with Mel Stuart (Willie Wonka w/ Gene Wilder, Wattstax) and Toby Moffett. Peter has written for magazines and newspapers such as Rolling Stone ("Last Words: Roger Nash Baldwin", photographed by Richard Avedon), Vanity Fair (profile of Beatles producer George Martin and Air Studios Montserrat), New York (profiles of aritst/cartographer Candy Jernigan and evangelist Nancy DeMoss "Sermons and Soda Water"), Entertainment Weekly, The New York Observer (Rush Limbaugh's draft card), The Soho Weekly News, Mother Jones. and The Palm Beach Post Currently he is writing the film Lexington, as well as finishing the novel * 69 Peter has a son, Peter Townsend Donald.
