European Scientists have found an earth like planet orbiting a cool red dwarf in the constellation of Libra, only 20 light years away from our solar system. It has surface temperature between 0 and 40 deg C.

January 1, 1946 marked the beginning of the "baby boomer" generation. A generation that is now coming of age so to speak. Today begins the first day of many to follow where those boomers now become eligible for social security benefits.

Now on the list of recalled products is a Boy Scout badge that is commonly passed out to 7-8 year old scouts. Yes it was made in China and yes it has been tested to have unacceptable levels of lead and it has been on the market for eight years.

The 10 year old told his mom over the weekend that his mouth hurt. When questioned, he admitted that he had been in trouble and the classroom aide had duct taped his mouth shut for 5 minutes. Mom is outraged, and an investigation is under way.

Instead of making sure 10 million American children have proper health coverage George Bush vetoed the bill. Saying that the proposed bill would have gone beyond the programs original purpose Bush signed away health care for millions.

Constable Leo Johnson was among four Mounties killed by gunman Jim Roszko at his Mayerthorpe-area farm March 3, 2005. It was the worse loss of life day in the history of the RCMP. His wife wants him to be reburied in Regina's National RCMP cemetery.

Apparently funds are running low for OJ. Or that is how it would seem, considering the man has just been placed on the "suspect" list for breaking into a Las Vegas hotel room in order to steal sports memorabilia. OJ's response? "I thought it was mine"....

A private school in Berkley, Michigan is recruiting new, young students in an unusual way. Our Lady of La Salette Catholic School will refund the tuition cost of any first-grader who cannot read at a second-grade level by school year's end.

44 year old William Gerald Collins told authorities that he wanted to punish his ex wife for leaving him, so he raped her 11 year old son for a period of 2 years in order to "turn him gay". He didn't want his ex to have the pleasure of grandchildren.

Yes, it’s official. It is now possible to imitate Canadians. It was a "Canadian" motorcade that breached APEC security. The ghastly truth is that nobody was quite sure what a "Canadian" motorcade would look like. So nobody stopped it.

Six members of the same family have all worn the same wedding gown. The latest is Charlotte Middleton who was wed wed Mark Sisson. The only way though she could get the gown to fit was to alter it into a two piece ensemble.
