Hello - my name is Jennifer Droese, and I am currently a Journalism/Photography double major at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley. I currently write for The Fox Journal, the newspaper for UW-Fox. I specialize in general reporting and news writing, but also deal with graphic imaging and layouts. I started writing for a newspaper during middle school, where I was the editor of the Wilson Star shooter. In High School I wrote for all four years. (Xavier High School, Appleton, WI - The Prospector). I won two awards at NEWSPA, the National Journalism Convention for both editorial, and reporting standards. I am in high hopes on contributing my passion for writing here at DigitalJournal, and look forward to delivering enthusiastic, juicy, and exceptionally entertaining news. I am currently in my sophomore year in college, soon to be transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to obtain my BA in Journalism. I have interned for three local publications – The Scene (Oshkosh, WI), 104.3 The Breeze (Neenah, WI) and Deluxe 920 (Appleton, WI).
