Victoria N. Alexander, PhD is a novelist and a philosopher of science. Her most recent books are Locus Amoenus, a dark comic post 9/11 novel about the decline of America, and The Biologist's Mistress: Rethinking Self-Organization in Art, Literature, and Nature, a secular redescription of teleology. She is currently working on an off-beat comedy screenplay about a high-security dystopia set in the near future.
