R. C. Camphausen

My full name is Rufus C. Camphausen and I'm a German born Dutch citizen living on the Greek island Crete - as far south (and warm) as one can be in Europe and still have access to broadband internet and assorted needs. Although my journey through life has seen me in many roles, foremost I've become a designer and photographer, and the author of several non-fiction books (Return of the Tribal, Divine Library, The Yoni) published in various countries and languages. I'm married (since two decades) to a Dutch artist of immense talent, and together we've chosen the freedom to travel and explore the planet above the idea of having children in this contemporary world. Together and apart, the exploration of other societies and cultures, including tribal peoples, has been a constant given in our lives. As a result, I've been more or less six times around the world, favoring islands while loving mountains as well. These experiences, added to my inclination for serious reading and diligent research, have resulted in the personality beyond the face you see in the accompanying photograph.
