12 captors of almost 570 people, 50 of whom were children, are now on trial for slave trafficking, illegal detention, forced labor, and murder. They ran their factories like prisons, complete with guard dogs and beatings for those who tried to escape.

MSNBC.com identified 144 journalists who made political contributions from 2004-2008. Most of the newsroom payouts leaned to the left: 125 journalists gave to Democrats and liberal causes. Only 17 gave to Republicans. Two gave to both parties.

Video game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. said Thursday it was temporarily suspending the release of the violent video game "Manhunt 2" because of an ongoing ratings controversy in the United States and a ban in Britain and Ireland.

British censors on Tuesday banned a video game for the first time in 10 years, for what they described as an unrelenting focus on sadism and brutal slaying. The U.S. published "Man-hunt II" cannot be legally supplied anywhere in Britain.

At first glance this news seems good. However the reason Greenspan cited as to why China will not begin dumping U.S. Treasuries is because “China would not have anyone to sell the securities to.” Nothing good about that.
