Sadiq Green

I am a Black American man born in Washington, DC and reared in NYC. I split time between both cities. I use the surname Green as a homage to my Grandfather and Uncle, two important influences in my life. Religiously I consider myself an American Druze. I was a medical professional until 2001 when I decided to begin writing on a regular basis. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in sports and politics and those are the topics I concentrate mostly on with my writings. I am an independent, moderate conservative, who gets behind the politician I feel will be best for America and my city - NYC. I have been fortunate enough to have contributed to various publications dealing with politics, sports, crime and entertainment in the 10 plus years I have been writing, and have met a bevy of interesting folks along the way. I am thankful to have come across Digital Journal which has given me a chance to express myself without the limitations that can be set by writing for a boss or company.
