Sarah Palin's speech last night at the Republican Convention was loved, hated, praised, criticized, some became enthused, "alarmed" and some were described as "panicked." Quite a variety of reactions, then news comes that her teleprompter malfunctioned.

Tuesday, a 9-month old little girl died because she'd been forgotten in the family's minivan for over two hours in the heat. The foster mother's excuse was that she 'forgot' to grab the baby after getting the other two adopted girls out of the van.

McCain has more than once taken up positions that the religious right disagreed with. He needs a VP who appeals to the religious right while still being acceptable to the more educated part of the Republican electorate, but is Sarah Palin that person?

I am a citizen journalist. Take that how you will. I write about the world and the problems that I find out about. I don’t write about fluffy puppies most of the time.
We have a Brady Bunch life where I live. My partner and I share a total of 6 kids between us with three still at home. Yes I live in the teenage twilight zone! Battlestations ahead.
I've done the homeschool thing. I've done the single mom thing. I have miles on these smile lines that you've never seen. I groove to Slam. I dance to da tunes.
And I think the Meredith Brooks' song Bitch is the true song of my life. ;P
