Opinion: The Insecurity Surrounding The One

It is now eighty six days out from the American National elections and one candidate is in a free-fall from grace and the other is surmounting a come-back. The questions remain; which one will win and upon which values will they run upon?

Opinion: From Cassandra To Jesus Christ

From Cassandra to Jesus Christ, it is amazing how often the doomed choose to ignore those who warn them of their coming fate. Cassandra was "doomed to tell the truth yet never to be believed". I am amazed how Greek Mythology so mirrors American politics.

Op-Ed: Evict The United Nations From US Soil

Metaphorically, the nuking of the United Nations has been my adult life's dream. My first look into the United Nations was when I was in High School some 40 years ago.

Op-Ed: Obama's Disingenuous and Blissful Ignorance

Barack Obama is clearly unfit for command of the United States not because he is black, white or green but because he hasn't the experience of an Executive to any degree. All he has is hope and change he can believe in.

A date most of the country doesn’t remember, but local people living around Mt St. Helens on that date recall vividly when nature showed her dark side as the Cascade Volcano erupted in the early morning, spewing untold tons of pollutants into the air.

Warriors have fought in man’s wars since time began. Many are wounded but live to fight another day. Eventually even warriors must pass on and the men that rode on these old warriors are saddened to see them, once proud and bold, pass into history.

Hillary Clinton does not have the delegate lead that Barack Obama enjoys. Clinton's goal at this point is to convince superdelegates that Obama cannot win in November's general election against John McCain. WV and Kentucky will give her argument validity.

Op-Ed: Obama Is Dukakis?

Barack Obama is moonlighting as Dukasis. For the uninitiated, Dukakis lost bad (as did Mondale) in their bids for the Presidency. Dukakis was the cause fatale in renaming liberals as progressives.
